Our Roots

Apogee Development began with a mission to revitalize neighborhoods through thoughtful, tech‑enabled real estate projects tailored for small businesses and community growth. We combine modern planning tools, electrification strategies, and decades of multidisciplinary experience to create safe, healthy, and efficient living environments.

 

Research shows that broader electrification can create “economic development opportunities… workforce expansion… and lower greenhouse gas emissions”—outcomes that directly support affordable housing redevelopment goals.

Early Experience — Urban Build (2010–2015) During the Urban Build period, we refined the principles that guide our work today: structured planning, community engagement, and scalable systems design. This era strengthened our ability to manage complex projects, coordinate stakeholders, and integrate technology into development—skills reflected in research on energy systems, consumer adoption, and infrastructure planning.

Founding Apogee (2016–Present) Apogee was founded to deliver small-scale, high-impact developments powered by electrification, modern building systems, and disciplined project management. DBA research of our founder and Managing Member emphasized that “energy management advancement may greatly improve competitiveness” —a concept we apply directly to housing through battery storage, solar integration, and efficient load balancing strategies.
